Preparation of Herbal Paste for Phlegm, Cough & Lung Stress

Ingredients:

Poppy Seeds (Khus-Khus) – 5g (Soothes irritation, mild sedative)

Dried Grapes (Munakka) – 10g (Expectorant, soothes throat)

Cannabis (CBD-Rich, Microdose) – 1g (Anti-inflammatory, bronchodilator)

Licorice Root (Mulethi) – 5g (Reduces mucus, soothes airways)

Ginger Powder (Sonth) – 3g (Anti-inflammatory, improves lung function)

Black Seed (Kalonji) – 3g (Clears respiratory pathways)

Honey – 30g (Natural cough suppressant, antimicrobial)

Fennel Seeds – 5g (Relieves congestion, calms airways)

Tulsi (Holy Basil) Powder – 3g (Strengthens lungs, fights infections)

Ghee (Clarified Butter) – 10g (Carrier for better absorption)

Preparation Steps:

Step 1: Pre-Soaking (6–8 Hours)

Soak poppy seeds and dried grapes in warm water overnight (6–8 hours).

This softens them for easy grinding and releases beneficial compounds.

Step 2: Grinding (5–10 Minutes)

Drain excess water and grind soaked poppy seeds and dried grapes into a fine paste.

Add a small amount of warm water if needed.

Step 3: Herbal Infusion (10–15 Minutes)

In a pan, heat ghee on low flame.

Add licorice root, fennel seeds, tulsi powder, black seed, and ginger powder.

Stir gently for 2–3 minutes until aromatic (do not burn).

Step 4: Mixing & Cooking (15–20 Minutes)

Add the poppy seed & dried grape paste to the infused mixture.

Stir continuously on low heat for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Add honey and mix well (do not overheat to preserve nutrients).

Finally, add cannabis powder and stir for another 2–3 minutes.

Step 5: Cooling & Storage

Allow the paste to cool completely.

Store in a glass jar in a cool, dry place.

Dosage & Administration:

Children (12–16 years): ½ teaspoon twice a day (morning & night).

Adults: 1 teaspoon twice a day.

Best taken on an empty stomach or before bed for optimal effect.
